On Wednesday May 10th, 2023, Kimberly J. O'Malley passed away in her home in Monticello, Kentucky of health complications. Kimberly was 57 years old.
Kimberly J. O'Malley is survived by her children, Jace Christopher O'Malley of Cedar Park TX, and Luke Michael O'Malley of Cedar Park TX; mother Joy Ashcraft, stepfather Thomas Ashcraft of Volente TX; brother Dirk (Lori) Wristers of Bee Cave TX, sister Kishna (Ty) Weaver of Bee Cave TX, sister Katrina (Scott) Bradley of Arizona; nephew Dirk Wristers of Phoenix, AZ, niece Katrina Wristers of Fort Worth TX; niece Josephine Bradley, nephew Ian Bradley of Arizona; nephew Brock Weaver, niece Nicole Weaver of Bee Cave TX.
Kimberly was preceded in death by her father Jan Wristers.
Kimberly J. O'Malley was born on September 10, 1965, in Baytown, Texas where she graduated high school. Kimberly continued her education and attended Baylor University and the University of Houston obtaining multiple degrees including a Bachelor of Science in Education, Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Master of Science in Educational Leadership and Administration, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Educational Assessment/Testing/Measurement. Kimberly taught 7 years in elementary grades with students in general education, special education, and English learners. Kimberly expanded her expertise to the corporate world and held varies high level positions throughout her career. She also authored/co-authored several publications and research abstracts on global clinical and education trends and had the privilege of advising Ministries of Education across the globe. She had a passion for research and built research units in health and in education.
Kimberly's (Kiki)favorite past-time was traveling, surfing, riding her Harley Davidson motorcycles, writing, spending time with her dogs, and watching her sons play sports. In her younger adult year's, she enjoyed playing softball, flag football, and sand volleyball. Kimberly (Kiki) had a fearless spirit and an exuberance that was infectious.
Kimberly was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She will truly be missed.
