Kenneth Waters, was born April 9, 1930, to the late Willie and Mossie (Hughes) Waters, in Wayne County, KY. He departed this life Friday, August 5, 2011 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY. He was 81 years of age.

He is survived by: his wife, Carole (Bahun) Waters of Monticello, KY; children, Kathryn Davis Reynolds and Cheryl Davis Minton (fiancé, Jerry Gilles) all of Portage, IN; and Mark Davis of Lake Station, IN; 13 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Willie and Mossie Waters, he was preceded in death by: his son, Joseph Waters; and granddaughter, Miranda Jean Waters.

Kenneth was a member of Masonic Lodge #421 of Monticello and a member of Chapter #526 of the Order of Eastern Star. He lived his adult life in Lake County, IN, and was a retiree of Budd Company. He was an Army Veteran, who served his country faithfully during the Korean War.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 8, 2011 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Masonic services will be held on Monday at 6 pm. All Master Masons please meet at the Lodge at 5 pm. Eastern Star services will be held Monday at 7 pm. All members please meet at the funeral home at 6 pm.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at 11 am at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Keith McKim and Bro. Stan Stevenson officiating. Burial will be in Elk Spring Cemetery. Full military honors will be performed by DAV Chapter 105.
