Kenneth Walters was born October 3, 1929 and departed this life Sunday, March 2, 2008 reaching the age of 78 years. He was the son of the late Louis Granville Walters and Lula Francis Troxell Walters.

He is survived by: three sons- Kenneth R. Walters of St. Louis, MO, Lyle Walters of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and James Gregory Walters of Pekin, IL, five daughters- Christine Dericka of Chino Hills, CA, Brenda J. Russell of Fenton, MO, Laurie K. Walters of Los Angeles, CA, Elena Loya of Winnemucca, NV, and Connie Maria Walters of Reno, NV, 13 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. He is also survived by: three brothers- Dennis Walters of IL, Joe Walters of TN, and Jimmie Smith of IL, five sisters- Doris Smithee, Sarah Walters, and Diane Frisbee all of IL, Janie Walters of TN, and Charlet Lockard of AR ; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by: one son in infancy and a son, Eugene "Gene" Walters, and two daughters- Lavern and Joyce.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Winnemuca Nevada 19.

He was a loving father, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral Service: Thursday, March 6th at 1 pm
Interment: Old Steubenville Church Cemetery
