Kenneth R. Bowen was born April 27, 1938 and departed this life Sunday, May 27, 2018 reaching the age of 80 years. He was the son of the late Walter Reed and Caroline Altha (Pryor) Bowen.

He married Mary Lois (Piercy) Bowen and to this union 2 children were born.

He is survived by: 1 son, Terry Bowen; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by: his wife, Mary Lois (Piercy) Bowen; and 1 son Kendall Bowen.

He was a loving father, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 1, 2018 after 4:30 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 1, 2018 at 6 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
