Obituary
Kenneth Reid Barnett was born April 20, 1954 and departed this life Thursday, July 24, 2014 reaching the age of 60 years. He was the son of the late Olen and Vada (Lair) Barnett.
He is survived by: two daughters, Felicia (James) Reynolds and Jennifer Cross both of Monticello, KY; and two grandchildren, Preston Reynolds and Khalee Richardson both of Monticello, KY. He is also survived by: two sisters, Lois Ann Tucker of Monticello, KY and Nancy (Tom) Woodward of Box Elder, SD; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, Olen and Vada Barnett, he was preceded in death by: four brothers, Ivan, Rudolph, Randall, and Donald Barnett.
Kenneth was saved at an early age and was a member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing his guitar and loved riding horses.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 28, 2014 after 5pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 1pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to:
