KENNETH ATKINSON was born June 7, 1931 and departed this life October 9, 2005 reaching the age of 73 years. He was the son of Odie Atkinson and Elsie Edwards Atkinson.

He was united in marriage to Bonnie Rednour and to this union two children were born.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Bonnie Atkinson of Monticello, KY; one son, Kenny Atkinson of Monticello, KY; one daughter, Roseanna Atkinson of Monticello, KY; four grandchildren, Misty Jones, Carrisa Pyles, Savannah Atkinson,and Daniel Pyles; and three great grandchildren, Stewart, Bryant, and Layne Jones.

He is also survived by three brothers, Bill, Harold, and Harvey Atkinson all of Monticello, KY; and one sister, Marie Carter of Monticello, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Odie and Elsie Atkinson; and two sisters, Joyce Peercy and Barbara Ann Atkinson.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation: Tuesday, October 11th after 5 pm and Wednesday, October 12th after 8 am
Funeral Service: Wednesday, October 12th at 3 pm
Interment: Davis Chapel Cemetery
