Kenneth Albertson was born September 22, 1938 and departed this life Friday, January 22, 2021 reaching the age of 82 years. He was the son of the late Cordell and Lola (Thrasher) Albertson.

He is survived by: his wife, Lois Albertson; 5 daughters, Debbie (Bob) Smith, Sabrina Albertson, April (Todd) Bratcher, Melanie (Andy) Smith and Anita (Seth) Bowman; 3 sons, David (Lesha) Albertson, Bill (April) Hollon and Kenny (Bethany) Albertson; 2 sisters, Marilyn "Sue" Miniard and Betty Resor; 28 grandchildren, Joseph, Jacob, Brent, Dawnica, Amber, Alyssa, Autumn, Ethan, Briana, Mason, Krista, Tabitha, William, Stephen, Kristin, Emily, Carter, Evan, Chloe, Carson, Kaleb, Amelia, Cailyn, Liam, Eli, Josie and Addie; numerous great-grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: 1 sister, Uldean Foster; and 1 grandson, Jonah Cade Albertson.

He was a loving husband, father grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 25, 2021 after 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Monday, January 25, 2021 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation and upon recommendations from the Governor's Office for Funeral Homes, there will be some restrictions for service attendance. You are asked to please wear a mask or facial covering and observe the social distancing guidelines. No communal food or drinks are allowed at this time.
