Obituary
Kay Winfrey was born November 19, 1941 and departed this life Monday, October 31, 2011 reaching the age of 69. She was the daughter of the late John Henry Russell and Ruby (Dean) Russell Prince.
She was united in marriage to Bill Winfrey and to this union 3 children were born.
She is survived by: 1 son, Douglas Winfrey of Indianapolis, IN; and 1 daughter, Tami (J.R.) Sims of South Lyon, MI. She is also survived by: 1 brother, Gary Russell of Monticello, KY; and 3 sisters, Linda Roberts, Phyllis Southwood, and Debbie Dishman all of Monticello, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, John Henry Russell and Ruby Prince, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Bill Winfrey; 1 son, Ronnie Winfrey; and 4 brothers, Logan, Bobby Lynn, and Billy Bruce Russell and Lannie Prince.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 3, 2011 from 5 – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 4, 2011 at 10 am at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Ragan officiating. Burial will be in Parnell Baptist Church Cemetery.
