Kathryn Shelton was born August 28, 1934 and departed this life March 31, 2008 reaching the age of 73 years. She was the daughter of the late Charlie Brown and Becky Brumley Brown.

She married Willie Rigney who preceded her in death. She later married Billy Shelton who survives her.

She is survived by: four sons- William, James, and Lewis all of Monticello, KY and Gordon Rigney of Somerset, KY, one daughter- Christine Southworth of Monticello, KY, 14 grandchildren, Kelsey Vaughn, Amanda Sloan, W. Justin, Jacob, Elijah, James, Stacy, and Matthew Rigney, William, Chad, Travis, Kelly, and Aaron Southworth, and Heather Gainey, 12 great-great grandchildren, Ashley, Andrew, Matthew, and Kaitlin Sloan, Emily, Cassie, Jerichas, Dewayne, Jimmie, Stacy, and Tyler Southworth, and Danielle Gainey. She is also survived by: one sister, Beatrice Brown; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents and her first husband, she was preceded in death by: one son- Terry Ray Rigney and one daughter- Linda Kay Rigney, and one brother- Franklin Brown.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation: Thursday, April 3rd after 5 pm
Funeral Service: Friday, April 4th at 1 pm
Interment: Crabtree Cemetery
