Kathryn "Cathie" Kelsay Dalton Turpin was born January 26,  1953 and passed from this life on April 23, 2022 at Jean Waddle Hospice Center in Somerset, KY.

Cathie was the daughter of Ralph and Roxie Kelsay Dalton. She was a graduate of Wayne County Schools in the Class of 1970 and a graduate of Somerset Community College. She worked at Oakwood, as a lab technician, until she retired. She later became a registered nurse.

Cathie was a self-taught artist, a certified swimming instructor, musically inclined and loved riding/showing horses.

Cathie is survived by her son, Brandon, her daughter-in-law, Elizabeth and the "apple of her eye" granddaughter, Kylin; her mother, Roxie Kelsay Dalton (age 92); her only sibling, Carolyn Dalton Davis and brother-in- law, Ralph Davis.

She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and life-long friend, Sue Brown Anderson (Mike) and dear friends, Junior Crabtree and his late wife, Becky and Paula Stacy and Ron Stacy.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Dalton; her husband, Chuck Turpin and her son, Kyle Turpin.

Cathie was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Monticello.

There will be no public services.
