Kathleen Harris was born April 23, 1936 and departed this life Tuesday, November 17, 2015 reaching the age of 79 years. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Roy and Flossie (Wilson) Burks.

She is survived by: her husband, William Frasier "Junior" Harris; three sons, Ronnie Sexton, Scotty Sexton, and Shawn Harris; six daughters, Belinda Williams, Marilyn Chaplin, Donna Lowe, Lisa Lewis, Renita Stringer, and Tiffany Crabtree; 16 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild. She is also survived by: six brothers, Bobby, Randall, Billy, Donald, Dewey, and Danny Burks; and three sisters, Barbara Carrender, Sheila Gehring, and Charlotte Phillips; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Rev. Roy and Flossie Burks, she was preceded in death by: one son, Kenneth Richard Sexton; one brother, Roy Burks, Jr.; and two sisters, Allene Bell and Sue Eller.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 19, 2015 after 5pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 20, 2015 at 11am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
