Katherine Joan "Kathy" Denney was born September 18th, 1953, and departed this life on Friday, March 8th, 2024, reaching the age of 70 years. She was the daughter of Eugene Denney and the late Bernice Ann "Asbury" Denney.

She is survived by: 3 grandchildren…..Chelsea (Jacob) Gibson, Gage Bridgeman, and Makayla (Devin) Martin; 1 great-grandchild, Harper Martin; her father, Eugene Denney; and two brothers, Roger (Diane) Denney, and Tim (Robin) Denney; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her mother Bernice Asbury and her son Michael Bridgeman.

She was a grandmother, daughter, sister, relative, and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 13th, 2024, from 11-1 pm in the chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home with services being held at 1 pm.  Burial will follow in the Taylor's Grove Cemetery.
