Obituary
Junior Lloyd Asbury, age 75, husband of Julie Asbury, passed away Friday, June 12, 2009 at his home in Monticello, KY.
He was born June 30th, 1933 in the Powersburg community of Wayne County, KY. He was the son of the late Silas Clayton Asbury and Flonnie Harmon Asbury.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 1 daughter, Annie Barnett, two grandchildren-Mariah Burton and Dustin Phillips and one special nephew-Johnny Rains of Monticello, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Junior Asbury Memorial Fund at the funeral home.
Visitation: The family will receive friends after 5 PM on Sunday, June 14th, 2009 in the chapel.
Funeral Service: The funeral service will be Monday, June 15th, 2009 at 10 AM in the chapel of the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Lee Stinson officiating.
Interment: Burial will be in the Taylors Grove Cemetery.
