Judy Preston was born December 13, 1944 and departed this life Sunday, February 27, 2022 reaching the age of 77 years. She was the daughter of the late Wayne and Daisy (Harris) McCarty.

She is survived by: two brothers, James "Douglas" McCarty (Peggy) and Jerome McCarty (Judy); and two sisters, Imogene Cooley and Phyllis Waddles; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, David Preston; two brothers, Ronnie McCarty and Wallace McCarty; and two sisters, Christine Bailey and Faye Moscript.

Graveside services will be held Monday, March 7, 2022 at 1 pm at the Elk Spring Cemetery Shelter.  Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
