Judy Kinnett was born April 2, 1952 and departed this life Tuesday, September 21, 2010 reaching the age of 58. She was the daughter of the late Larnie and Ethel (Lowe) Dishman.

She is survived by a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

She taught school for Wayne County Elementary and retired in 2003. Even though she had retired, she continued teaching as a substitute; touching many lives, young and old, students and co-workers, family and friends. She was loved by many and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.


The family will receive Judy's co-workers from 4:30 – 5 on Saturday, September 25 and the public from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 26, 2010 at 2 pm at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Clark officiating. Burial will be in Elk Spring Cemetery.
