Judy Gail Cooper was born August 21, 1960, and departed this life Wednesday, July 19, 2023, reaching the age of 62 years. She was the daughter of the late Hubert and Anna (McHatton) Stewart.

She is survived by: her husband, Ben Cooper; one son, Leeron Cooper (Tiffany Ferrell); one daughter, Kimberly Canty (Troy); one brother, Mike Stewart; and ten grandchildren, Jasmine, Jakayla, Jaquaylen, Jahyra, Janasia, Jamiyah, Aubrey, Cora, Brennan and London; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Hubert and Anna Stewart, she was preceded in death by: one sister, Wanda Stamper; three brothers, Roger, Glenn and Ronnie Stewart.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Monticello Cemetery.
