Obituary
Judy Chesney was born June 3, 1941 and departed this life Friday, January 20, 2012 reaching the age of 70. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Ruby (Myers) Norman.
She was united in marriage to Robert Chesney and to this union 2 children were born.
She is survived by: her husband, Robert Chesney of Monticello, KY; 2 sons, Paul (Cindy) Chesney of Rock Hill, SC and John (Karen) Chesney of Charlotte, NC; and 4 grandchildren. She is also survived by: 1 sister, Mary Barham of Charlottesville, VA; several nieces and nephews; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Charles and Ruby Norman.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 22, 2012 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 23, 2012 at 10 am at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Walker officiating. Burial will be in Elk Spring Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to:
Hospice of Lake Cumberland or the Wayne County Hospital
