Joy Williams was born October 16, 1963 and departed this life Sunday, August 12, 2018 reaching the age of 54 years. She was the daughter of Jimmy Williams and Alice (Foster) Stout.

She is survived by: her daughter, Alicia Williams (fiancé, Rance Price); and grandchildren, Brayden and Cabryn Ping. She is also survived by: her father, Jimmy Williams; her mother, Alice Stout; and two brothers, Mike and Blane Williams; 2 nephews Brandon Williams and William Hicks; 3 nieces, Shawna Williams, Stephanie Hicks, and Leah Evans; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Anna Jean "Jeanie" Williams and Patricia "Trish" Hicks.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 17, 2018 between 11 am – 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Friday, August 17, 2018 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
