Jossie Hatton was born August 23, 1926, and departed this life Tuesday, February 11, 2025, reaching the age of 98 years. She was the oldest child of the late Calvin and Nancy (White) Mullins.

She is survived by: one son, Buddy Keith Anderson (Marianne); along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Calvin and Nancy Mullins, she was preceded in death by: her 1st husband, Buddy Anderson; her 2nd husband, Henry Hatton;  two sisters, Sarah Ann Holsinger and Elsie Topp; and three brothers, Wesley Howard Mullins, John Clyde Mullins and James Carl Mullins.

Jossie loved being a homebody and enjoyed gardening and canning, planting trees and shrubs – she could grow about anything.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 15, 2025, between 11 am – 12 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 12 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
