In Loving Memory of Josie Kaye Foster

October 25, 2026 — Forever Our Guardian Angel

Though her time on earth was far too short, Josie Kaye made a mark on this world that will last for all eternity. The precious infant daughter of Virginia Conner and Jonathan Foster, Josie was a beautiful little soul who was loved beyond measure long before she ever took her first breath.

Josie arrived far too soon, leaving behind a love so big and a heartbreak so deep that words could never fully express it. Her mommy and daddy dreamed of holding her, watching her grow, hearing her sweet cries and laughter, and making a lifetime of memories with their precious girl. Although those dreams were heartbreakingly cut short, the love they have for Josie will never end. She may not have had the chance to grow up in her parents’ arms, but she will forever live in their hearts.

Sometimes, God’s most precious angels are only loaned to us for the briefest moment. Though we wish with every part of our hearts that Josie could have stayed, we find comfort in believing that heaven needed another beautiful angel. Perhaps she was simply too perfect for this world, and God had a special place prepared just for her. While our hearts ache for all the moments we will never get to share with her, we find peace in knowing that her little life was filled with love from the very beginning.

Josie was the beloved baby sister of Callie and Lillie Conner, who will forever carry the love of their little sister in their hearts. Though they will not have the chance to grow up together here on earth, Josie will always be a part of their story, their family, and their forever.

She is also lovingly remembered by her maternal grandparents, Timothy W. Massengale and the late Anna Mae Massengale, and her paternal grandparents, Michael and Kara Foster and Amy and Chris Isner. Josie was welcomed into a family filled with people who were anxiously awaiting her arrival, ready to hold her close, shower her with kisses, spoil her endlessly, and love her for a lifetime. She is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, great-grandparents, and extended family members whose hearts will forever hold a special place for her.

Although many never had the opportunity to meet Josie or hold her in their arms, she was already surrounded by so much love. Her name was spoken with excitement, her arrival was anticipated with joy, and her place in this family was already secured. She was wanted, she was cherished, and she will never be forgotten.

To her mommy and daddy, Josie will forever be their precious daughter, their sweetest goodbye, their most beautiful hello in heaven, and the little girl they will spend a lifetime longing to hold again. She will be the angel they look for in the stars, the whisper of peace on their hardest days, and the reminder that a love this powerful does not end when a heartbeat does.

Josie Kaye, you were here for a moment, but you will be loved for eternity.

You were too precious for this world, little one, and although we would give anything to have you here with us, we trust that God is holding you close until the day we can hold you again.

Rest peacefully, our beautiful girl. May heaven be as sweet as the love you left behind. Watch over your mommy, your daddy, and your big sisters. Wrap your tiny angel wings around them on the days when missing you hurts the most. Let them feel your presence in the quiet moments, and remind them that you are never truly far away.

You will forever be the missing piece of our family, the little girl who changed our lives without ever needing to say a word, and the precious angel who will always watch over the people who love you most.

Forever our daughter. Forever our sister. Forever our angel. Forever loved.

Until we meet again in heaven, sweet Josie Kaye. 💜
