Joshua Thompson was born February 25, 1980 and departed this life Saturday, May 7, 2011 reaching the age of 31. He was the son of Rick and Audrey (Jones) Thompson.
He was united in marriage to Kayla Johnson and to this union 1 child was born. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kayla Thompson.
He is survived by: his son, James Wayne Thompson; his parents, Rick and Audrey Thompson; 1 brother, Andrew Thompson; and 1 sister, Wendy (Ward) Foster; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 from 4 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 1 pm at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home. Burial will be in Gap Creek Cemetery.
