Josephine Alley was born July 24, 1945, and departed this life Thursday, February 8, 2024, reaching the age of 78 years. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Thomas and Hattie Rebecca (Blackburn) Adkins.

She married Kenneth Alley and to this union two children were born.

She is survived by: one daughter, Jenny Alley; one son, Stephen Alley; four grandchildren, Alyssa and Autumn Arnone, Anderson and Mason Ford; and one sister, Anita Upchurch: along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Alley; and one brother, Samuel Adkins.

Graveside services and interment will be held Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at 1 pm at Old Charity Cemetery.
