Johnny Young was born January 8, 1946 and departed this life Wednesday, April 15, 2009 reaching the age of 63 years. He was the son of the late Ephraim and Alta (Russell) Young.

He is survived by: his wife, Kathleen (Brown) Young of Monticello, KY, 1 daughter, Savannah Stephens of Ft. Wayne, IN, and 1 granddaughter, Amy. He is also survived by: 8 brothers, Thomas, James, George, Charlie, Richard, Ray, Killis, and Jack Young, and 2 sisters, Joyce Tuggle and Betsy Lyons; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: 1 son, Johnny Nelson Young and 1 brother, Robert Young.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
