Obituary
JOHN HENRY PATTON was born November 20th, 1930 and departed this life Friday, January 11th, 2008 reaching the age of 77 years. He was the son of the late Arthur Patton and Myrtie Massengale Patton.
He was united in marriage to Joyce Carter on August 4th, 1956.
He is survived by his wife Joyce, one brother-Omar Lee Patton and three sisters: Nannie Marcum of Albany, KY, Lona Lynch of Louisville, KY and Janice Hutchison of Monticello, KY; along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers-Marshall and Ray Patton and one sister-Hazel Clark.
He was a loving husband, brother, uncle, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
Visitation: The family will receive friends after 5 PM on Sunday, January 13th, 2008 in the chapel of the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: The funeral service will be Monday, January 14th, 2008 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home.
Interment: Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
