John Thornton Kuhrke was born July 4, 1947 and departed this life September 20, 2022 reaching the age of 75 years. He was the son of the late Lloyd and Teanna (Faithgable) Kuhrke.

He is survived by: his wife, Linda L. Kuhrke; one brother, Thomas Kuhrke; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

John served his country and was a proud veteran of the U. S. Navy.

Graveside and interment services will be held Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 1:30 pm at Mill Springs National Cemetery. Full military honors will be provided by our local DAV Chapter 105.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to:  John Kuhrke Memorial Fund, c/o Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home.
