John Crouch was born September 6, 1946, and departed this life Saturday, January 21, 2023, reaching the age of 76 years. He was the son of the late Jim Ed and Ada (Spradlin) Crouch.

He is survived by: his daughter, Paula Gregory; two grandchildren, Sara Smith and Aaron Gregory (Stacy); and one great grandchild, Hannah Smith. He is also survived by:  two brothers, Joe Crouch and Max Crouch (Billie); and one sister, Grace Shearer Rogers (Will); along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Jim Ed and Ada Crouch, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Geneva Crouch; two brothers, Fred Duncan and Bruce Crouch; and two sisters, Ann Scalf and Nancy Sue Webb.

John did computer installation for IBM in Lexington for 45 years. After retiring from IBM, he worked for several local houseboats manufacturing plants in Monticello.

He enjoyed racing, fishing, and camping. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 28, 2023, between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 28, 2023, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
