John Burrows was born October 18, 1948 and departed this life Friday, January 7, 2022 reaching the age of 73 years. He was the son of the late Raymond Clyde and Juanita (Weaver) Burrows.

He is survived by: his wife, Veronica (Micko) Burrows; his children:  Ricky Chambers (Jennifer), Roger Chambers, Shawn Bertram; grandchildren: Ashley Chambers, Kelsey Gebbink (Jaden), Karly Chambers, Rik Chambers, Shawnee Binns, Josh Chester, David Binns Jr., Nick Arnold; and siblings:  Janet Hill (Bill), Judy Shelton (Mike) Gerald Weaver, Marilyn Burrows; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 27, 2022 between 11 am – 1 pm at Gap Creek Baptist Church.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 1 pm at the Gap Creek Baptist Church. Burial will be at the Catron Cemetery.  Military honors will be provided by our local DAV Chapter 105.
