John Boston was born August 11, 1912 and departed this life Thursday, January 15, 2009 reaching the age of 96 years. He was the son of the late James Boston and Emma (Koontz) Boston.

He is survived by: 2 sons- John Lewis (Jr.) and William "Bill" Boston both of Monticello, KY, 4 daughters- Dorothy Edna (Raymond) Collins of Winchester, KY, Lela Irene Key of Indianapolis, IN, Mary Jane Keith of Monticello, KY, and Susei Mae (Tommy) Jones of Springville, IN, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by: 1 sister- Emma Jane Bates; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by: several brothers and sisters.

He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.


Visitation: Saturday, January 17th after 6 pm
Funeral Service: Sunday, January 18th at 2 pm
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
