Joe Hicks was born September 12, 1953 and departed this life January 31, 2005 reaching the age of 51 years. He was the son of Willard Hicks and Lena Bridgeman Hicks.
He was united in marriage to Margaret Atkinson.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Hicks of Monticello, KY; his father, Willard Hicks of Monticello, KY; two brothers, Dallas and Jerry Hicks both of Monticello, KY; and four sisters, Ann Denney of Spencer, IN, Catha Sexton of Monticello, KY, Ramona Sexton of Albany, KY, and Rebecca (Becky) York of Louisville, KY
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lena Hicks; and one brother, Hallice Hicks.
He was the owner and operator of Hicks Equipment in Monticello, KY.
He was a loving husband, son, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
He was united in marriage to Margaret Atkinson.
