Obituary
JOE LOUIS DOBBS was born on July 1, 1939 and departed this life on April 23, 2005 reaching the age of 65 years. He was the son of Willie Guffey Dobbs and Fronia Ellen Kidd Dobbs.
He was united in marriage to Annabelle Sexton and to this union four children were born.
He is survived by his wife, Annabelle Dobbs of Monticello, KY; two sons, Larry and Gordon Dobbs of Monticello, KY; and two daughters, Theresa Lyons and Lisa Harmon of Monticello, KY; and two grandchildren.
He is also survived by four brothers, Hershel, Robert, Cecil, and Bennie Dobbs; and three sisters, Martha Bell, Anna Rigney and Edna Sexton; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation: Monday, April 25 after 5 pm
Funeral Service: Tuesday, April 26 at 1 pm
Interment: Dobbs Cemetery
