Joe Fount Dishman was born April 22, 1941 and departed this life Tuesday, August 17, 2021 reaching the age of 80 years. He was the son of the late Harlan and Minnie Dishman.

He married Pearl Pyles and to this union two children were born.

He is survived by: his wife, Pearl Dishman; one son, Joe Richard Dishman; one daughter, Debbie Crowley; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. He is also survived by: one brother, Mack Dishman; and three sisters, Anna Ramsey, Ina Mae Neal and Emma Bertram; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Harlan and Minnie Dishman, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jake Dishman and Hank Dishman.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Morgan Cemetery.
