Obituary
JOE ADAMS was born February 24, 1928 and departed this life April 10, 2007 reaching the age of 79 years. He was the son of the late Sam Adams and Leeann Lawson Adams Abbott.
He is survived by: one daughter, Ella Faye Dyer of Linton, IN; one grandchild; and one great grandchild. He is also survived by one brother, Glen Abbott of Monticello, KY; and four sisters, Mary Kay Bowlin, Lena Burke, Grace Baker, and Marie Troxell both of Monticello, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Juanita Turner Adams; two step sons, David and Billy B. Dishman; his father, Sam Adams; his mother, Leann Abbott and step father, Albert Abbott; and one sister, Sue Owens.
He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation: Friday, April 13th after 5 pm
Funeral Service: Saturday, April 14th at 10 am
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
