Joccie Burchett was born December 30, 1940 and departed this life Tuesday, September 30, 2008 reaching the age of 68 years. She was the daughter of the late Marvin and Opal (Roberts) Jones.

She is survived by: 1 son- James (Rita) Brown of Sykesville, MD, 1 daughters- Jeannette Brown of Nancy, KY, and 9 grandchildren. She is also survived by: 2 brothers- Gene Jones of Cincinnati, OH and Brad Jones of Fayettesville, OH, and 4 sisters- Glenna Hendricks and Anna Bashear both of Cincinnati, OH and Shirley Sears and Serena Waters both of Monticello, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by: her husband- Ben Burchett.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.


Visitation: Friday, October 3rd after 5 pm
Funeral Service: Saturday, October 4th at 1 pm
Interment: Coffey Cemetery in Ritner, KY
