Obituary
Jimmy Ray Sweet was born March 9, 1954 and departed this life September 12, 2004 reaching the age of 50 years. He was the son of Arlin Sweet and Elizabeth Fugate Sweet.
He was united in marriage to Barbara who preceded him in death.
He is survived by two sons, Chris Bowlin and James Ray Sweet; one daughter, Chastidy Bowlin; and his mother, Elizabeth Sweet.
He is also survived by three brothers, Rayburn, Danny and Paul Sweet; seven sisters, Lora Elam, Mary Barrier, Kathy Parrigan, Judy Denney, Lilly Massengale, Janie Sweet, and Sandy Carrender; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; one daughter, Myra Nicole Sweet; his father, Arlin Sweet; three brothers, Johnny, Eddie and Grady Sweet; and one sister, Martha Catron.
He was a loving father, son, brother, grandfather, uncle, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation: Wednesday, September 15 after 5 PM
Funeral Service: Thursday, September 16 at 1 PM
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
