Jimmy Clay Hicks was born July 28, 1970 and departed this life Friday, November 19, 2021 reaching the age of 51 years. He was the son of Helen Faye (Piercy) Hicks and the late Clay Hicks.

He is survived by: two children, Jimmy Clay Tyler and Bethany Faye Marie Hicks; and two grandchildren, Ashton Clay and Naomi Ann Hicks. He is also survived by his mother, Helen Hicks; and siblings, Shannon Sue Kennedy, Donnie Kaye Hicks, Rachel Mae Wiles (Joseph), Sharon Rose Lowe (Elmer), Hollie Faye Dishman (Amos) and Josh Hicks; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his father, Clay Hicks, he was preceded in death by his sister, Charlotte Rose Hicks.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 26, 2021 between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Friday, November 26, 2021 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Hicks Cemetery.
