Jimmy Edmond "Red" Lair was born October 9, 1952 and departed this life on Saturday morning, April 18, 2015 having reached the age of 62 years. He was the son of the late Ralph Lair and Zina New Steele.


He is survived by: his wife, Peggy (Jones) Lair; 1 daughter, Angela Wallace; 3 step children, Gary Ridner, Sheila Goad, and Vicki Branscum; 2 sisters, Wilma Stinson and Louise Keith; and grandchildren, Stephanie Cash, Rayanna, Samuel, and Mary Acrey, Peggy Lynn Ridner, Chris Barnett, Ashley Brooks, Ernie Brooks, Emily Troxell, Kimberly Whitehead, Rick and Katisha Ridner.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by: one son, Paul Lair; one daughter, Tammy Acrey; and one step son, Bradley Ridner.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 11am to 2pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be hold on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 2pm. Burial will follow in the Spann Hill Church Cemetery.
