Jimmie Massengale was born January 27, 1941 and departed this life Monday, March 3, 2008 reaching the age of 67 years. He was the son of the late William Massengale and Jennie Morris Massengale.

He married Connie Grimes and to this union four children were born.

He is survived by: one son- Jamie Massengale of Monticello, KY, three daughters- Melissa Scalf, Maria and Christina Massengale, and three grandchildren- Kristen, Cameron, and Kaylee Scalf. He is also survived by: three brothers- Jack Massengale of Greenwood, IN, Billy Kay Massengale of Monticello, KY, and Lester Massengale of Indianapolis, IN, and two sisters- Mary Parker and Geraldine Chriswell both of Monticello, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by: his parents- William and Jennie Massengale, and his wife- Connie Massengale.

He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
