Jimmie Allen Jones was born March 26, 1946 and departed this life Friday, February 15, 2008 reaching the age of 61 years. He was the son of the late Theodore Jones and Ivy Vaughn Jones.

He is survived by: his wife, Shirley, two sons- Ricky Allen Jones and Charles Allen "Charlie" Jones, four daughters- Rebecca Lynn Jewells, Ruth Allien Matthews, Patricia Gail Southworth, and Deloris Irene Hatfield, 23 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. He is also survived by: one brother- Kenneth Jones, and one sister- Katherine Sue Flynn; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.


Visitation: Monday, February 18th after 5 pm
Funeral Service: Tuesday, February 19th at 12 pm
Interment: Cedar Grove Baptist Church
