Jimmie Eugene Hollars was born December 24, 1950 and departed this life Wednesday, December 1, 2021 reaching the age of 70 years. He was the son of the late Glen and Ruth (Duncan) Hollars.

He married Barbara Cox and to this union three children were born.

He is survived by: children, Sabrina (Duane) Prater, Jimmie Hollars (Jessica, dec.), and Amanda West; grandkids, Shelby Hollars, Monica Hollars, Trenton Hollars, Daniel Rood, Jeremiah, Seth, and Tisha Brummett, Sierra Secret West, and Tory Henderson; and great grandkids, Brooklyn, Breanna, and Bristol Rood, Tucker Schilling, Mattheus Sanchez, Adyn, Emily, and Leeann Brummett, and Journey Stump.

He is also survived by his siblings, Glenda (Roger) Winchester and Donald (Deborah) Hollars; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Glen and Ruth Hollars, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Barbara Hollars; and one brother, Darrell Hollars.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 4, 2021 between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
