Jimmie Lee Floyd was born December 20, 1959, and departed this life Thursday, October 29, 2026, reaching the age of 66 years. He was the son of the late Kenneth Elden and Margaret (Stringer) Floyd.

He is survived by: his wife, Peggy Floyd; three sons, Roy Floyd (Tina), Jimmy Floyd (Natasha Foster), and Shawn Hall (Megan); two daughters, Lola Bland and Barbara McCarrol; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
