Obituary

Jewell Dean Morrow, age 79 years, 11 months, and 2 days, passed from this earthly life to her heavenly home on March 26, 2024.

She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Chloa Branscum Morrow of the Denney community in Wayne County, KY.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her four brothers: Joe, John, Manuel, and Daniel Morrow; and her six sisters, Betty Norrick, Charlene Turner, Kathy Orlosky, Judy Glover, Linda Von Harten, and Sharon Hall; along with a host of nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her sister, Elizabeth Brown; and her brothers, Ray Morrow and Fred Morrow; a niece, Vanessa Jade Turner; and a nephew, Aaron James Norrick.

Jewell was a people person and loved nothing more than having her family and friends visit. She always loved and enjoyed her family of friends at Golden Years Nursing Home.

Going to church was a highlight for her as she loved going and singing those old-time songs. She attended Lower Turkey Creek Baptist Church; at the age of 14 years, she gave her heart to Jesus and remained a member there.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 30, 2024, between 10 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 30, 2024, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Tucker Cemetery.
