Jewell Blevins was born July 7, 1950 and departed this life Thursday, June 16, 2016 reaching the age of 65 years. She was the daughter of the late James Virgil and Ellen "Tots" (Dishman) Crabtree.

She is survived by: two sons, Robert Pittman and Rodney Blevins; one daughter, Christina Blevins; three grandchildren, Myles Pittman, Addison Pittman, and Silas Blevins. She is also survived by one sister, Nina Crabtree; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, James and Ellen Crabtree, she was preceded in death by: one brother, Robert Glen Crabtree.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 18, 2016 after 5 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Sunday, June19, 2016 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
