Obituary
Jessie Dennis was born March 25, 1953 and departed this life Monday, January 27, 2014 reaching the age of 60. He was the son of Robert Lee and Mary "Gladys" (Crabtree) Dennis.
In addition to his parents, Robert and Gladys Dennis, he is survived by: 4 sons, Shane, Shawn, Jason, and Jeremy Dennis all of Monticello, KY; 11 grandchildren; and 1 great grandson. He is also survived by: 3 brothers, Delmar Dennis of Ohio, Danny Dennis of Monticello, KY, and Tim Dennis of West Virginia; 5 sisters, Kathryn Coffey, Billie Crouch, and Carolyn Allen all of Monticello, KY, Lois Moore and Brenda Russell of Russell Springs, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by two infant brothers, Robert Jr. and Jimmie Ray Dennis.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 31, 2014 from 11 am – 1 pm in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will be Friday, January 31, 2014 at 1 pm in the chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Green Betty Cemetery.
