Jesse Lee Wallen was born June 30, 1950 and departed this life Monday, October 30, 2017 reaching the age of 67 years. He was the son of the late Willie D. Wallen and Mary Hazel (Abner) Wallen.

He is survived by: 1 daughter, Christie Keen and husband, Chris of Celina, TN; 1 son, Jamie Wallen and wife, Jennifer of Russell Springs, KY; 5 grandchildren, Heather Judd and husband, David, Amanda Gulley and husband, Josh, Dylan Keen and wife, Makali, Aiden Keen and Alexis Wallen; special friend and the mother of his children, Kathy (Sexton) Wallen, many nieces and nephews as well as a host of other family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Willie and Mary Wallen, he was preceded in death by: 3 brothers, Billy, Charles, and Jody Wallen; and 1 grandson, Blake McLearrau.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home in Monticello, KY. Craig Ogletree will officiate and interment will follow in the Alexander Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be at Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home in Monticello, KY on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home. Full military honors will be performed by the Monticello DAV Chapter 105.
