Jesse Leo Denney was born August 24, 1953 and departed this life Tuesday, June 26, 2018 reaching the age of 64 years. He was the son of the late Albert and Frances (Smith) Denney.

He married Patricia "Patti" Pruitt and to this union two children were born.

He is survived by: his wife, Patti Denney; two daughters, Kyla Tucker and Jessica Dodge; one grandchild, Finleigh Dodge; and one sister, Martha Martin; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Clyde Denney.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 28, 2018 between 5 – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Friday, June 29, 2018 at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Isaac Tucker Cemetery.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to: Newtown Baptist Church Youth Group or Hospice of Lake Cumberland
