Jesse Arvin Davis was born September 6, 1939 and departed this life Thursday, June 9, 2016 reaching the age of 76 years. He was the son of the late Amberos Arvin and Nellie Inez (Buck) Davis.

He married Mabel Louise Worsham on November 30, 1959 and to this union one son was born.

He is survived by: his wife, Mabel Louise Davis; 1 son, Roger Davis (wife Lela Ann); 1 grandchild, Zebediah Davis; 1 great grandchild, Haley Davis; 2 sisters, Gladys McGinnis and Dorothy Aaron; as well as a host of family and friends that mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two sisters, Lois and Doris Davis.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 after 11 am in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be private.
