Jerry Perkins was born May 10, 1962 and departed this life Sunday, November 29, 2020 reaching the age of 58 years. He was the son of the late Jimmy and Elizabeth Beth (Downs) Perkins.

He is survived by: his wife, Linda Perkins; three sons, Terry Brown, Jonathan Brown, and Rodney Brown; four daughters, Melissa Stevens, Miranda Perkins, Shatrina Brown, and Billie Brown; 15 grandchildren.  He is also survived by three sisters, Sharon Phillips, Nellie Cookie Bertram and Joyce Owens; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Jimmy and Elizabeth Perkins, he was preceded in death by: two sons, Jerry Wayne Brown and Kevin Wayne Miller; and one brother, Jimmy Perkins; and sister, Teresa Perkins.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 3, 2020 at the Oak Grove Cemetery. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions from the Governor of Kentucky and upon recommendations from the Kentucky Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors, a PRIVATE funeral service will be held.
