Jerry Branscum was born January 21, 1950 and departed this life Sunday, November 3, 2019 reaching the age of 69 years. He was the son of (the late) Elbert Hardin Branscum and Gladys (Branscum) Flynn.

He married Freda Hall and to this union three children were born.

He is survived by: his wife Freda Branscum; his children, Alicia Hobday, Travis Branscum and Megan Branscum; and six grandchildren, Trevor Lewis, Lindsey Branscum, Kadan and Kaylee Hollars, Kinley and Kolton Baker .  He is also survived by: siblings, Glen Branscum, Herbie Branscum, Elbert Hardin "Buddy" Branscum and Rose Elizabeth Branscum; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Branscum and Janet Branscum.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 7, 2019 between 11 am – 2:30 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 2:30 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Jonesville Cemetery.
