Jennifer Powell was born December 10, 1971 and departed this life Wednesday, January 28, 2009 reaching the age of 37 years. She was the daughter of Huey Abbott and Anna (Hancock) Duncan.

She was united in marriage to J. B. Powell and to this union 2 children were born.

She is survived by: her husband- J. B. Powell of Monticello, KY, 2 children- Whitney and Brandon Powell, both of Monticello, KY. She is also survived by: her father- Huey Abbott of Monticello, KY, her mother- Maggie Anna Duncan of Monticello, KY, and 1 brother- Michael Abbott of Monticello, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.


Visitation: Friday, January 30th after 4:30 pm
Funeral Service: Saturday, January 31st at 11 am
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
