Jeanette Sullivan was born January 26, 1962 and departed this life January 1, 2011 reaching the age of 48. She was the daughter of the late Frank Sullivan, Jr. and Helen (Hill) Sullivan. In addition to her parents, Jr. and Helen, she was preceded in death by: 1 brother, Curtis Sullivan; and several aunts and uncles.

She is survived by: her brother, Christopher Sullivan; and ½ sister, Barbara Gray. She is also survived by: 1 aunt, Gladys Hollars; 2 uncles, Arvin Sullivan, and Ancil Hill; and several cousins; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

She was devoted to her family – taking care of both parents until their death. But, her greatest concern was her younger brother, who needed special attention. She put her own life's ambitions aside to devote her attention to his care. And, continued to do so until her own health problems prohibited her from doing so.

Jeanette enjoyed listening to music, especially Elvis Presley. She loved to watch basketball games and was an avid UK fan. She was always lots of fun and enjoyed being a part of her cousin's gentle teasing, pranks and practical jokes. Her laughter was contagious and made those around her smile. She was cherished and loved by all who knew her and will be sadly missed.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 from 10 – 11 am in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at 11 am at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Hollars and Bro. Steve Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in Piney Woods Mission Church Cemetery.
